Installation

Flamewolf is a experimental browser. As such, building it from source is recommended.

Requirements

You need the following before building Flamewolf:

  • Python 3
  • Mercurial or Git
  • At least 4GiB RAM (8GiB recommended)
  • At least 30GiB Free Disk Space

Getting the source code

Flamewolf is distributed through both Git and Mercurial

To get it:

Cloning via Git
git clone https://github.com/rustdevbtw/flamewolf

Building

Building on Linux
./mach build

Pre-Built

Linux (AMD64) Since v128.1.0, FlameWolf now officially provides pre-built Binaries for AMD64(x86_64) Linux!
You can find these binaries in GitHub Releases!

Linux (AArch64) Pre-Built Binaries for AArch64(arm64) Linux are coming soon!

Windows Pre-Built Binaries for Windows are coming soon!

macOS Pre-Built Binaries for macOS are coming soon!

Packages

Apart from official binaries, You can also use official or community-maintained packages for your distribution!

On Arch, it is available as flamewolf-bin!

You can install it via an AUR helper:
